Introduction

Principal's message

McLurg High School is built on the belief of helping students discover their passion and purpose, while fostering a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom. With a warm, family-like atmosphere, we strive to create an environment where every student feels supported and valued. We challenge our students to excel academically while also encouraging personal growth, resilience, and self-discovery. We believe in nurturing the whole person, empowering students to not only succeed academically but also develop the character and confidence needed to thrive in an ever-changing world.

For our new and continuing students, we would like to encourage you to enjoy your time here at McLurg! Keep an open mind and take every opportunity to gain new perspectives. Pursue classes that challenge you, do not shy away from learning new skills, and get involved in extra-curricular activies! Your high school experience is also what you make of it! By enrolling in a variety of classes and being a contributing member of our school community, you will be better prepared for the future, with countless open doors available to you after graduation!

Go Broncs Go!

Living Sky School Division acknowledges our place on Treaty 6 Territory, traditional lands of the Nêhiyawak, Nakawe, Dene, Lakota, Nakota, Dakota, and Métis people. We honour the spirit and intent of our sacred treaty relationship, and take action for reconciliation by teaching our shared history and learning from the land and each other.
